In addition to the climbing focus our intention was to collect plants and record associated information in the areas to the north and south of the Edward Bailey glacier on Renland as a contribution to a survey of flora (flowering plants and ferns) of the central fjord region of Greenland which was initiated in 1961 by Dr. Geoffrey Halliday.
